Meaning of the Hall Logo:

The 'S' in the middle of the logo stands for the beginning letter of Scientific Education Hall, and it is a symbol of the hall,the pattern in the center resembles a shield, representing the unbreakable unity of the Scientific Education Hall community,and the outline of the lines resembles hands forming a heart, demonstrating that Scientific Education Hall is a united and caring Hall.

Dr. Timothy Wu(吴京津)

joined BNBU in summer 2016 after receiving the Ph.D. degree from City University of Hong Kong (CityU). He has served as a Student Residence Tutor in CityU halls for more than 2 years. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and has been invited for academic or hall-related visits to Australia, Hungary, South Korea, Singapore and the USA.

He enjoys various outdoor sports activities such as hiking, swimming and windsurfing. Particularly, he is a marathon runner and has participated in several marathon events held in Hong Kong, Macau and South Korea.

From bedrooms and self-study rooms to communal areas for relaxation and socialization, every aspect of the Scientific Education Hall is tailored to enrich your university experience.

Tony Ding

Our associate warden is Tony Dinh who was born and raised in Minnesota, USA. He first came to BNBU as an exchange student and now he is a lecturer. "I have always lived an active life while I was in the US and it’s something I continue to do in BNBU. I value the importance of being able to balance both academic and personal life and feel that university is a great time to learn", he said. Tony is excited and looking forward to working with our students this coming year and he will support students during their life at BNBU, hoping to promote a more active lifestyle.
